Penguin

Penguins are flightless birds perfectly adapted to life in icy waters. Found primarily in the Southern Hemisphere, penguins are known for their distinctive waddling gait and tuxedo-like appearance. Their streamlined bodies and strong flippers make them excellent swimmers, capable of diving deep to catch fish, squid, and krill.

Penguins live in colonies, often forming lifelong bonds with their mates. However, climate change, overfishing, and pollution threaten their habitats and food sources. Zoos and aquariums play a crucial role in penguin conservation, raising awareness about the need to protect marine ecosystems.
